Broadgate in Manchester is seeking an experienced Audit Assistant Manager to lead audit engagements and grow a diverse client portfolio. The role offers hybrid working with regular presence in the Manchester office and client sites across the region.

You’ll manage audits, develop junior staff, strengthen client relationships and contribute to the growth of the audit practice, while upskilling through senior leadership opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• External audit experience gained within a professional practice environment.
• Strong post-qualified audit experience.
• Experience leading audit assignments and supervising staff.
• Excellent client-facing and relationship management skills.
• Strong technical audit and accounting knowledge.
• Experience reviewing work prepared by junior colleagues.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Experience working with commercial businesses, owner-managed companies and charities.
• Exposure to business development and networking activities.
• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Support the planning, execution and completion of audit assignments.
• Manage a portfolio of audit clients alongside Audit Managers and Partners.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout engagements.
• Review audit work prepared by junior team members.
• Coach, mentor and train trainees and audit seniors.
• Support audit delivery to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
• Assist with budgeting, resourcing and engagement planning.
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines effectively.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services to clients.
• Contribute to networking and business development initiatives.
• Support Managers, Directors and Partners with ad hoc projects and strategic growth plans.
