Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager to join its Audit & Assurance team in a leadership role. You will manage client engagements, oversee audits from planning to delivery, and mentor junior staff while building strong relationships with clients.

The role offers hybrid working, clear progression toward Audit Manager, and exposure to diverse client bases across industries.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification required.
• Strong audit experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience leading complex audits and reviewing work.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit clients across a variety of industries.
• Oversee multiple audit assignments from planning through to completion and delivery.
• Review audit work prepared by junior team members and provide technical guidance.
• Support and develop Audit Seniors and Supervisors through coaching and mentorship.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships.
• Work closely with Managers and Directors to ensure high-quality client service.
• Contribute to workflow planning, team development, and operational improvements within the audit department.
