Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking an Assistant Asset Technician to join a busy Estates team on a temporary basis. You will support the day-to-day operations of a facilities helpdesk, manage maintenance requests, coordinate with contractors, and maintain CAFM records.

The role requires experience in facilities helpdesk or coordination, strong customer service, and proficiency with CAFM platforms such as Concerto or Oracle EAM.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities helpdesk or scheduling environments.
• Proficiency with CAFM systems, especially Concerto or Oracle EAM.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a first point of contact for maintenance and facilities-related enquiries via telephone and email.
• Log, allocate and monitor work orders through CAFM systems.
• Liaise with Estates Supervisors, Managers and contractors to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Prioritise reactive maintenance requests and escalate urgent issues when required.
• Maintain accurate records in CAFM systems and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Support the Helpdesk Supervisor in onboarding and training new team members.
