Due to continued investment within the Facilities Maintenance & Compliance function, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Asset Supervisor to lead the Helpdesk and Stores teams, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused service.
Your new role As Asset Supervisor
You will lead and support operational teams, monitor service performance, manage stakeholder relationships and drive continuous improvement through effective use of CAFM systems, reporting and service management processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FM Helpdesk, CAFM or Facilities Coordinator professional looking to progress into a supervisory role within a large and professional facilities' management environment.
Key responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day operation of the Facilities Helpdesk and Stores functions.
Support, mentor and develop Helpdesk and Stores Operatives.
Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and service users.
Ensure service delivery is maintained in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Develop and improve processes to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
Produce KPI reports and analyse CAFM system data to monitor service performance.
Track work order status and provide accurate management information.
Build strong relationships with Facilities Managers, Supervisors, Contract Managers and key stakeholders.
Coordinate stock control, procurement activities and inventory management processes.
Support budget controls and procurement procedures in line with organisational policies.
Assist with staff welfare matters, sickness absence management and return-to-work processes.
Ensure policies, procedures and service standards are consistently followed.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement across the Helpdesk and Stores teams.
Support the wider Facilities Maintenance and Compliance function as required.
What you'll need to succeed Previous experience within a Facilities Helpdesk, CAFM, Maintenance Coordination or Facilities Administration environment.
Experience supervising, managing or leading teams.
Strong knowledge of CAFM systems such as Concerto, EAM or similar platforms.
Experience producing and analysing KPI and performance reports.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience using Power BI. Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
Experience implementing process improvements and service enhancements.
Facilities Management qualification or relevant industry experience would be advantageous.
