Assembly Technician

Location : Yarnton

Salary : £34,000 - £40,000 per annum

Hours : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00am 5 : 30pm

Type : Full-time, Permanent

We are looking for experienced Assembly Technicians to help bring these advanced systems to life. You'll be hands‑on with the mechanical and electrical assembly of compact, high‑performance systems, playing a vital role in the development, testing, and refinement of next‑generation technologies.

What You'll Be Doing as an Assembly Technician :
  • Assembling mechanical and electrical components
  • Assisting in test set‑ups, instrumentation, and data collection
  • Conducting inspections and troubleshooting
  • Collaborating with engineers on quality and process improvement
  • Maintaining production records, inventory, and purchasing logs
  • Driving improvements in safety, efficiency, and cost
What We’re Looking For as an Assembly Technician :
  • Essential:
    • Solid experience with mechanical assembly
    • Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality systems
  • Desirable:
    • Experience in a production/manufacturing environment
    • Background in scaling up assembly systems or manufacturing facilities
    • Familiarity with drafting SOPs and improving manufacturing processes
