Qualifications

• BOHS P402 qualification is essential.
• Previous asbestos surveying experience.
• Strong knowledge of HSG264 and asbestos legislation.
• Experience surveying commercial and public sector properties.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out management and refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across property types.
• Producing clear, accurate asbestos survey reports.
• Managing diary and field-based workload.
• Liaising with clients, contractors and site representatives.
• Maintaining electronic records and survey documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with current asbestos legislation and guidance.

• GBP32,000 : GBP40,000 basic salary (DOE)

The Role

• Carrying out Management and Refurbishment and Demolition (R and D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
• Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a range of property types
• Producing clear, accurate, and compliant asbestos survey reports
• Working across a varied portfolio of commercial and public sector properties
• Managing your own diary and field:based workload effectively
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and site representatives
• Maintaining accurate electronic records and survey documentation
• Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance

About You

• BOHS P402 qualification (essential)
• Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
• Strong knowledge of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation
• Experience surveying a range of commercial and public sector properties
• Confident working independently in a field:based position
• Strong communication and report:writing skills
• Professional, organised, and reliable
• Full UK driving licence
