TipTopJob is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to cover Brighton and the surrounding South East region. The role offers a strong basic salary with excellent earnings potential through weekend work, a company vehicle and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will join a major asbestos and environmental services provider focused on technical standards and employee development, supporting field teams across the region.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 or equivalent qualification (essential).
• Experience as an asbestos surveyor on domestic, commercial and/or industrial properties.
• Strong knowledge of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.
• Ability to produce accurate survey reports and site documentation.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Professional, organised and able to manage workload independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys per HSG264.
• Undertake asbestos sampling and reinspection surveys.
• Survey domestic, commercial and industrial properties.
• Collect and transport samples to UKAS-accredited laboratories.
• Produce accurate survey reports and site drawings using company software.
• Provide clients with technical asbestos advice and support.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Liaise with Quality, Contracts, Project Management and operations teams.
• Ensure all work complies with company procedures and asbestos legislation.

A leading UKAS:accredited asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join its growing team covering Brighton and the surrounding South East region.

The Role

• Carrying out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition (R and D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
• Undertaking asbestos sampling and reinspection surveys
• Surveying domestic, commercial, and industrial properties

About You

• BOHS P402 or equivalent qualification (essential)
• Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
• Experience surveying domestic, commercial and/or industrial properties
• Strong knowledge of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation
• Confident producing accurate survey reports and site documentation
• Strong client:facing and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Professional, organised, and able to manage your workload independently
