Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join the Watford team.

You will perform Management and Refurbishment & Demolition surveys across a varied portfolio of properties, delivering accurate surveys and compliant reports while maintaining professional client relationships.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation
• Experience within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable
• Confident working independently in a field-based position
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
• Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a variety of property types
• Producing accurate, detailed, and compliant asbestos survey reports
• Working across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, residential, and public sector properties
• Managing your own diary and workload effectively
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and site representatives
• Maintaining accurate electronic survey records and documentation
• Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and company procedures

The Role

About You
