You will carry out surveys to HSG264 standards, collect bulk samples, and produce compliant reports while managing your diary and liaising with clients. The role offers a basic salary up to £40,000 with overtime enhancing earnings to around £46,000, company vehicle, pension, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Essential BOHS P402 qualification.
• Experience as an Asbestos Surveyor in commercial/public sector.
• Strong knowledge of HSG264 and asbestos legislation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition surveys per HSG264.
• Conduct bulk asbestos sampling across properties.
• Produce clear, compliant survey reports.
• Manage diary and field workload.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and site teams.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with asbestos legislation and HSE guidance.

The Role

• Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
• Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a range of property types
• Producing clear, accurate, and compliant asbestos survey reports
• Working across a varied portfolio of commercial and public sector properties
• Managing your own diary and field-based workload effectively
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and site representatives
• Maintaining accurate electronic records and survey documentation
• Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance

About You

• BOHS P402 qualification (essential)
• Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
• Strong knowledge of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation
• Experience surveying a range of commercial and public sector properties
• Confident working independently in a field-based position
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Professional, organised, and reliable
• Full UK driving licence
