Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team covering Gloucester and the South West region. You will carry out Management and Refurbishment and Demolition surveys in accordance with HSG264, and produce clear survey reports for a mix of commercial and public sector properties.

The role offers a competitive basic salary with overtime boosting earnings to around GBP46,000, a company vehicle, pension, and ongoing training within a large, national employer.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 qualification (essential).
• Strong knowledge of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Management and Refurbishment and Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264.
• Conduct bulk asbestos sampling across a range of property types.
• Produce clear, accurate, and compliant asbestos survey reports.
• Working across a varied portfolio of commercial and public sector properties.
• Managing your own diary and field-based workload effectively.
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and site representatives.
• Maintaining accurate electronic records and survey documentation.
• Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance.

• Strong communication and report:writing skills
• Professional, organised, and reliable
• Full UK driving licence
