Our client a well-established name in the asbestos industry is looking to recruit an experienced, motivated Asbestos Sales/Business Development Manager in the South East region and will welcome applications from London, Kent, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Strong sales, business development, accounts, management, technical and office background.
  • Proven track record working within this role and the asbestos industry; experience in other sectors beneficial.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, organisational, leadership, management, presentational and client facing skills.
  • Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Purpose of the Role

Developing new business leads and strategy and at the same time managing the existing company’s accounts.

Role Will Encompass
  • Cross selling the company’s asbestos services and winning new commercial contracts.
  • Getting involved with the sales, commercial and financial side of the business.
  • Pricing and tendering.
  • Developing and monitoring business forecasts and budgets.
  • Managing the sales activities of the company.
  • Building and maintaining a good relationship with new clients/customers by liaising and negotiating appropriately and effectively with regards to winning new contracts.
  • Maintaining the company’s systems.
  • Attending and conducting meetings and discussing financial position of the business, etc.
  • Achieving, meeting and exceeding overall targets and goals.
  • Developing and training the sales staff.
  • Dealing with any queries with regards to sales, etc.
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the company’s Health & Safety procedures.
  • Developing plans for new clients and suppliers – contracts or services.

Overall, the successful post-holder will be driven and have the ability to take the business to the next level.
