The ideal candidate will have B2B sales experience, preferably in MHE or capital equipment, with strong relationship building and negotiation skills.

I am pleased to present a new opportunity for a successful Sales Manager to join a leading Material Handling Equipment Company based in Sheffield.

The role is to sell new and used existing trucks to businesses in the S post code.

Managing your own diary, the Area Sales Manager will have the autonomy to maximise business opportunities whilst ensuring service levels are maintained.

The Area Sales Manager will have a B2B Sales background, most desirably in the MHE industry with a strong ability to build relationships, influence, and provide solutions.

Other similar industries will be considered such as Automotive, Agricultural, Industrial, Hire, Heavy Goods, Capital Equipment.

Key responsibilities of the Area Sales Manager:

• Sell new and used trucks to businesses in the S post code
• Further develop business opportunities with existing customers
• Hit volume targets, market share and coverage of the S post code
• Day to day planning of prospecting in line with the required levels of sales activity
• Undertake site surveys, produce accurate quotes and present to the customer providing solutions

Keey requirements of the Area Sales Manager:

• MHE industry experience, Capital Equipment experience will also be considered
• Direct B2B sales experience
• Commercially minded with the drive to maximise results
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
• Fully enjoy the selling experience and travelling to visit clients
• Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
