Job summary

Stirling Warrington in the Midlands (Coventry, Birmingham, Northampton) is seeking an Area Sales Executive (Trainee) or Area Sales Manager to develop external sales across the building materials sector, working with independent and national merchants.

You will manage your patch, build lasting relationships with customers, support them with inquiries, and pursue contractor projects to sell through merchant partners. A driving licence is required and a strong commercial instinct is essential.

Qualifications

• External sales experience from a manufacturer or distributor of building materials.
• Commercially savvy with a track record in developing accounts.
• A valid driving licence.

£38,000-£50,000 plus car (low BIK rate) and bonus

Our client sells heavy side products through the independent merchant sector, national merchants and buying groups.

The role of Area Sales Manager will focus on building relationships with all customers in your area supporting them with enquiries and support for their customers.

You will manage your area maximising the sales from all customers and identifying areas to increase sales.

Going to the contractor and bringing projects to sell through your merchant partners is a huge part of this role
