Area Manager - Early Years Nurseries

Salary: Up to £50,000
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Multi-site (travel required across our nurseries)

About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Area Manager who can hit the ground running and oversee the smooth running of our nurseries. This is a key leadership role, responsible for supporting Nursery Managers, driving high standards, and ensuring both operational and business success across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and performance-manage Nursery Managers and their teams
  • Ensure consistent compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations
  • Drive occupancy, budgets, and operational efficiency across settings
  • Maintain Ofsted readiness and deliver strong inspection outcomes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents, and external partners
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development across nurseries
  • Contribute to strategic growth and continuous improvement

About You

  • Proven leadership experience in early years as an area/regional manager
  • In-depth knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements
  • Strong organisational and financial management skills
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to inspire and support managers and teams
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality childcare and education

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5/6 preferred)
  • At least 5 years' experience in nursery/childcare leadership
  • Multi-site experience
