Job summary

Flying High Partnership is seeking an Apprentice Teaching Assistant to start a career in education and support children in the classroom. You will work with the class teacher and broader staff to create engaging, high-quality learning experiences while progressing toward the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship over an 18‑month programme, including an End-Point Assessment.

  • Build positive relationships with pupils to support their learning, wellbeing, and personal development.
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers, support staff, and families to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality, uphold safeguarding procedures, and model the school’s values in all interactions.
  • Working towards your Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

About the Role

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Teaching Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career in education while supporting children in the classroom. You will work closely with the class teacher and wider school staff to create engaging, high-quality learning experiences and ensure every child is supported to thrive and succeed. Alongside your role, you will work towards achieving the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Standard. The apprenticeship programme lasts 18 months and includes an End-Point Assessment (EPA), providing you with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to build a successful career in education.

Whether you are supporting the whole class, working with small groups, or delivering 1:1 support for children with additional needs, your role will be crucial in helping every child feel safe, happy, and able to achieve their potential.
