Job summary

Stanstead Flying High Academy, part of Flying High Partnership, seeks a caring Teaching Assistant on a temporary contract for the academic year to support pupils in the classroom and work with the class teacher and staff.

You will assist with whole class, small groups, and 1:1 support for children with additional needs, helping every child feel safe, happy and able to reach their potential while upholding safeguarding and school values.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with class teachers, support staff, and families to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold safeguarding procedures in all interactions.

About the Role

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team on a temporary contract for the duration of the academic year. This role will involve supporting children across the classroom, working closely with the class teacher and wider school staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences and ensure all children are fully supported.

Whether you are supporting the whole class, working with small groups, or delivering 1:1 support for children with additional needs, your role will be crucial in helping every child feel safe, happy, and able to achieve their potential.
