Job summary

Bilsthorpe Flying High Academy in Nottinghamshire is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to join our Grade 2 team. You will support children in the classroom, working closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality learning experiences and ensure every pupil is supported.

We value inclusion, safeguarding and wellbeing, and encourage a proactive, collaborative approach. The role involves 1:1 support, small group work, and helping maintain a positive, engaging classroom environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role will involve supporting children across the classroom, working closely with the class teacher and wider school staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences and ensure all children are fully supported.

Whether you are supporting the whole class, working with small groups, or delivering 1:1 support for children with additional needs, your role will be crucial in helping every child feel safe, happy, and able to achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities

Grade 2:

• Support pupils during teacher-led activities, encouraging independence and active participation.
