The broad purpose of the ICT occupation is to deliver efficient operation and control of the IT and / or Telecommunications infrastructure (comprising physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage) either on‑premises or to end‑users provisioned as cloud services that is required to deliver and support the information systems needs of an organisation.
If successful you will be joining a team that supports the Desktop, Server and Network infrastructure and will report to the IT Manager.
You will be trained to become responsible for the support and management of the Cisco, VMware and Windows network infrastructure.
You do not need to have any experience to apply for this vacancy as full training will be provided as part of the apprenticeship.
On completion of the Apprenticeship you will achieve the ICT Level 3 and become qualified.
Suitable candidates should have strong computer / server skills, ideally with some experience of building / fixing home computers and their home network.
