Job summary

Halfords Careers in the UK is offering an Autocentre Apprentice position. You'll gain hands-on experience across servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles, with exposure to engines, chassis, and electrical systems.

You'll learn safety, workshop practices, and how to diagnose faults using modern equipment. The program includes day release at college, 5-day weeks, and progression opportunities in a top 25 Sunday Times Best Big Companies to work for.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above (Or Equivalents).
• Interest in cars and solving problems.
• Able to use hands and have a strong and fit attitude to work due to the manual work involved.

Responsibilities

• Work on servicing, inspections and repairs across a range of vehicles.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic methods and equipment.
• Develop skills in engine, chassis and electrical system diagnostics and repair.

Skills
