Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD is seeking an Applications Technician to showcase our cutting-edge equipment and support the sales process from a technical perspective. The role focuses on demonstrations, customer training, and maintaining the demonstration suite in an office-based environment in Letchworth Garden City.

You will collaborate with Sales Account Managers to drive machine sales, provide technical guidance to customers, and ensure the demo suite is presentable and fully operational.

Qualifications

• Proactive and enthusiastic about demonstrating and selling equipment.
• Excellent technical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot machine settings.
• Strong presentation skills for engaging with customers and supporting sales.

Responsibilities

• Planning, setting up and delivering machine and software demonstrations, tailored to highlight features and benefits of our equipment (in person and online).
• Collaborate with Sales Account Managers to demonstrate equipment to new and existing customers, driving machine sales.
• Provide technical assistance to customers over the phone, offering guidance on selection, material setting and application queries.
• Deliver technical advice, training sessions and assistance to Sales Account Managers, Marketing Manager and Customer Relationship Executives to enhance the sales process.
• Represent us at trade shows, exhibitions, and open days, setting up and demonstrating our equipment.
