Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD is seeking an Applications Technician to demonstrate our cutting-edge equipment and support the sales process. You will conduct demonstrations, provide technical support, and maintain our demonstration suite to directly influence sales success and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proactive and enthusiastic about demonstrating and selling equipment.
• Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent technical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and advise on machine settings.
• Effective presentation skills for engaging with customers and supporting sales.
• Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set up and deliver machine and software demonstrations (in person and online).
• Collaborate with Sales Account Managers to demonstrate equipment and applications to customers to drive machine sales.
• Work with Customer Relationship Executives to showcase products and software, aiming to sell upgrades and tooling.
• Handle admin and post-demo tasks, including documenting demo details and maintaining the demo suite.
• Conduct test demos for new and existing customers and keep the demo suite in top condition.
• Keep software suites updated for optimal functionality.
• Provide technical assistance to customers by phone on selection and application queries.
• Deliver training and guidance to Sales Account Managers and Marketing to enhance sales.
• Represent the company at trade shows and exhibitions with setups and demos.
