Job summary

Sovereign Network Group is seeking an Anti Social Behaviour Officer for their Housing Team in Oxfordshire. The role involves developing a safe, inclusive community, tackling hate crime, nuisance and ASB, and managing your own caseload within a collaborative team.

The position is full-time and hybrid, combining home working with the Newbury office and client visits. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are required to visit customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in antisocial behaviour housing management or transferable skills from customer-facing roles
• Experience dealing with challenging behaviour and resolving conflict
• Strong communication skills with customers in demanding environments
• Self-motivated and highly organised
• Strong IT skills including MS Office
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with colleagues, contractors and agencies

Salary: £32,000.00 - £40,000.00 Per year

Job Description

We are looking for an Anti Social Behaviour Officer to join our Housing Team in Oxfordshire, to contribute to developing a safe and inclusive community for our customers.

In this busy role you'll work alongside your housing management colleagues to tackle all forms of hate crime, nuisance and anti-social behaviour.

You'll manage your own caseload and build effective working relationships with external agencies, including the police and legal advisors.

You'll make a big difference to people's lives within an experienced, supportive and supported team.

What you’ll need:

• Ideally, you'll have previous experience of anti-social behaviour related housing management services or be able to demonstrate transferable skills and experience from a similar type of customer facing role.
• Experience of dealing with challenging behaviour and resolving conflict
• Strong communication skills with previous experience of working with customers in a demanding environment
• The ability to be self-motivated and highly organised
• Strong IT skills including MS Office
• The ability to establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues, contractors and partnering agencies

What you need to know:

This is a hybrid role where you'll work from the comfort of your own home, the Newbury office and out with our customers.

The role is permanent, and you'll be working full time.

You'll need a full UK driving licence and access to your own car, as the role involves visiting customers.
