Job summary

Springcare, a family-run group delivering residential and nursing care in the Cheshire Wirral area, is seeking an enthusiastic and committed kitchen team member.

You will assist in preparing and serving hot and cold meals, support the head cook to meet food hygiene standards, and help keep the kitchen clean. You’ll work with residents’ dietary needs and maintain accurate temperature records under supervision. Two written references and right to work in the UK will be required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of hot and cold meals.

• Being mindful of residents' dietary preferences and requirements.

About you:

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of hot and cold meals.
• Assisting the head cook to ensure that food is prepared in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
• Helping to keep the kitchen area and equipment clean and to the standard for food hygiene.
• Under guidance of head cook, maintaining accurate records of food supplies and freezer/fridge temperatures
• Being aware of varied preferences and dietary requirements of individual residents
