Job summary

Springcare is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member to support the preparation and service of meals for residents in our Wolverhampton locations. You will work under the head cook, ensuring high standards of hygiene and catering for dietary needs.

We offer permanent full and part-time day contracts with pension access, early pay options, discounts, and ongoing funded training. DBS and right-to-work checks apply for successful applicants.

Qualifications

• You will be positive, enthusiastic, professional and willing to go above and beyond to ensure residents receive high quality service.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Food hygiene certificate preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of hot and cold meals.
• Assisting the head cook to ensure that food is prepared in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
• Helping to keep the kitchen area and equipment clean and to the standard for food hygiene.
• Under guidance of head cook, maintaining accurate records of food supplies and freezer/fridge temperatures
• Being aware of varied preferences and dietary requirements of individual residents
