Job summary

Springcare Care Homes Ltd is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member to support daily meal preparation and service for residents in our care homes. You will work under the guidance of the head cook, ensuring hygiene standards are met and residents receive high-quality meals.

The role offers permanent full-time and part-time day contracts with pension support, early pay options, and access to wellbeing resources.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and has excellent communication skills.
• Food hygiene certificate is desirable.
• Previous experience in a similar role is welcome but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of hot and cold meals.
• Assisting the head cook to ensure food prepared in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
• Helping keep the kitchen area and equipment clean and to the standard for food hygiene.
• Under guidance of head cook, maintaining accurate records of food supplies and freezer/fridge temperatures.
• Being aware of varied preferences and dietary requirements of individual residents.

About you:
