Job summary

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust in Liverpool is seeking a Rostering Coordinator to manage daily shift allocations for ambulances and rapid response vehicles. You will ensure effective cover, handle last-minute absences, and maintain rostering records with a focus on operational efficiency.

You will collaborate with sector teams, produce performance data, and provide administrative support to the leadership group.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above.
• Six months admin experience in an operational environment.
• Current full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Plan ambulance and rapid response vehicle resource allocation for coverage of shifts.
• Facilitate short notice cover for absences using overtime/bank staff.
• Maintain and record staff hours/shifts on the rostering system (hours, overtime, leave, sickness, training).
• Collaborate with other rostering coordinators and Senior Paramedic team to ensure contingency cover.
• Produce performance and management information and provide admin support to leadership.
