Job summary

North Cheshire and Mersey NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly organised Rota Co-ordinator to support medical staffing across Obstetrics & Gynecology and Paediatrics & Neonatal. You will coordinate rotas, manage leave and locum cover, and support trainee doctors to meet educational requirements.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a dynamic NHS environment and to adapt to service demands.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative roles, preferably in healthcare or medical staffing.
• Experience coordinating rotas and covering leave/absence.
• Ability to manage on-call rotas and allocate staff to theatres and clinics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain medical rotas across Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Paediatrics & Neonatal.
• Manage leave, absence, and locum arrangements to ensure safe staffing.
• Schedule staff to wards, clinics, theatres, and elective lists.
• Support trainees to meet educational and training requirements.
• Provide day-to-day admin duties and monitor annual and study leave.
