An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Women & Children's Division for a highly organised and motivated Rota Co-ordinator to support the management of medical staffing across two rota areas: Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Paediatrics & Neonatal.
Working closely with resident doctors, consultants and management teams, the post holder will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining medical rotas, ensuring safe staffing levels, managing leave and absence, arranging locum cover, and supporting trainee doctors to meet their educational and training requirements.
This is a busy and rewarding role requiring excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and respond effectively to changing service demands. The successful candidate will build strong working relationships across multidisciplinary teams and play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.
This is a fixed-term position for 12 months and presents an excellent opportunity for an individual with administrative experience, ideally within a healthcare or medical staffing environment, to develop their skills within a supportive and dynamic team. The Rota Co-ordinator will lead and co-ordinate medical rotas, whilst working in a supportive environment. Providing day-to-day administrative duties aligned with the role including the monitoring of annual and study leave, sickness absence and timely meetings with educational supervisors.
