Job summary

South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a ROC Supervisor - INTERNAL ONLY. The role delivers resourcing services, leading Operations Resource Coordinators and ensuring compliance with Trust policies and legislation.

You will manage workload, supervise performance against KPIs and support workforce planning to sustain service delivery. You will oversee the Global Rostering System (GRS), maintain confidential staffing records, and provide coaching, guidance, and escalation

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Maths and English at grade C or above.
• Higher education or equivalent experience.
• Full Driving Licence.
• IT competency such as NVQ in Business Admin, CLAIT, C&G ECDL or equivalent.
• Mentoring and coaching qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workforce planning, scheduling and resourcing while ensuring policy compliance.
• Lead ROC staff, manage workload, coach and support performance.
• Administer the Global Rostering System (GRS), ensuring data quality and payroll-related records.
• Monitor staffing levels, analyse data, identify risks and implement solutions.
• Escalate issues as a key contact and deputise for the ROC Manager when required.
