DHL Supply Chain at Bristol Airport is seeking personnel for essential aviation-based operations. The role involves coordinating ground handling planning, working with site teams to drive improvements, and ensuring timely tasks within tight timeframes on a real-world aviation contract with easyJet.

Successful candidates will bring aviation experience, strong communication, and outstanding organisation. The position is full-time and based on-site at Bristol Airport, with security vetting

Responsibilities

• Deliver Planning SLA's to service ground handling operations.
• Work with site operational teams to improve planning processes.
• Interrogate systems to provide management information for continuous improvement.
• First point of contact and shared operations communications with stakeholders.
• Support Shift Manager in Plan/Do/Review calls and system updates.
• Provide real-time monitoring to ensure work is completed on time.
• Make changes to workflow streams on the day of execution.
• Brief Ground crew with schedule changes and maintain professional etiquette.
• Check movement messages, unserviceability comms, hot turns and fake flights.
• Nightly check of equipment and raise any discrepancies.

You Must Have Aviation Experience - Essential

Pay Rate: £36,250

Grade: CA

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off – 1000 2 200

Location: Bristol Airport

PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an Airport. You will be required to under-go Security Vetting Processes ( including a criminal record check) if you are to be successful for this position.

DHL work in partnership with easyJet at Bristol Airport to provide all ground handling within their Bristol operation. No two days on our Aviation contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the ground handling operation, working to tight timeframes but delivering fantastic results.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Deliver Planning SLA's to service ground handling operations
• Work with site operational teams to ensure continuous improvement of planning process
• Interrogate systems to provide management information to support continuous improvement of planning process
• First point of contact and shared operations communications with relevant stakeholders
• Support Shift Manager in Plan/Do/Review calls, updating systems and implementing changes based on feedback
• Provide real time monitoring to ensure that work is being completed by the ground crew and ensure delays are received by TCOs
• Make changes to workflow streams efficiently on the day of execution to ensure that work is completed on time and in full
• Brief Ground crew with schedule changes, turn information - maintain professional etiquette at all times
• Checking movement messages, unserviceability comms, hot turns, identifying fake flights in the system
• Nightly check of all equipment from above including headsets and cables and raising any discrepancies
• Exceptional performance delivered by smart allocation of colleagues to tasks
