ESP Global Services Ltd is seeking an Airport Engineer to support and maintain Automated Border Control (eGate) systems at Manchester Airport, ensuring reliable passenger processing in a busy terminal. You will work with operations, border agencies and technology partners to maintain service availability and rapid incident response, focusing on biometric and border-control equipment.

Formación

Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments.
Hands-on hardware installation, maintenance and break/fix support.
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
Experience with biometric devices or other customer-facing technology.
Experience in SLA-driven support environments.
Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

Monitor and support ABC eGate systems.
Troubleshoot hardware and software faults affecting passenger processing.
Support biometric devices including facial recognition cameras, document readers, passport readers, and fingerprint scanners.
Maintain gate controllers, access mechanisms, sensors and security devices.
Work with border agencies, airport security teams and vendors to resolve issues.
Perform preventive maintenance and system health checks.
Assist with software upgrades, patching, testing and maintenance.
Respond rapidly to incidents and outages to minimise disruption.
