Job summary

Hunter Selection is recruiting an Air Conditioning Install Engineer to join a growing Hampshire-based team in Southampton. You’ll install split systems, VRV and VRF on residential and commercial projects, with a workload split around 70% residential and 30% commercial.

The role offers a basic salary of £47,500–£55,000, paid overtime, a company van and fuel card, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, health insurance, and real career progression into Lead Engineer and Supervisory positions.

Qualifications

• Proven air conditioning installation experience.
• F-Gas Category 1 certification required.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

The Role

You'll be carrying out installations on a mixture of residential and commercial projects, working on:

• Split systems
• Multi-split systems
• VRV systems
• VRF systems

Workload split: 70% residential 30% commercial

You’ll also occasionally assist with

• Planned maintenance
• Fault finding
• Repair work

What We're Looking For

• F-Gas Category 1
• Proven air conditioning installation experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
• NVQ / City & Guilds qualifications (desirable)
• Professional attitude and customer-facing skills
