Job summary

HVAC Total FM Recruitment are seeking a Senior Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to cover commercial projects around Guildford, Woking, Epsom and surrounding areas in Surrey. You will lead installers and oversee subcontractors, install VRV/VRF and split systems, and work from technical drawings to commission.

F-Gas qualification is essential; a City & Guilds certificate is preferred. Salary £45,000–£50,000+ DOE, overtime, company van, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, and progression

Senior Air Conditioning Installation Engineer

Location: Surrey – Guildford, Woking, Epsom & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000+ DOE + Overtime
Hours: Monday – Friday

We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join an established and growing HVAC company, covering commercial projects across Surrey and surrounding areas.

We are ideally looking for someone based around Guildford, Woking, Epsom or South of the M4, although there is flexibility on location for the right engineer.

This is a senior installation position, so we're looking for someone who is confident working independently and has the experience to lead other installers and oversee subcontractors on site.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Managers, you will be responsible for the installation and assembly of commercial air conditioning and HVAC systems across a variety of projects.

Duties will include:

• Installation of VRV / VRF systems
• Installation of split and multi-split air conditioning systems
• Installation and associated works on AHUs
• Refrigeration and associated mechanical works
• Installing pipework, containment, brackets and condensate drainage
• Reading and working from technical drawings and project specifications
• Equipment positioning, system set-up and preparation for commissioning
• Leading and supporting other installation engineers on site
• Overseeing subcontractors where required
• Liaising with Project Managers throughout installations
• Ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to a high standard
• Fault finding and resolving installation issues on site

What We're Looking For

• Strong commercial Air Conditioning installation experience
• Experience installing VRV/VRF and split systems
• F-Gas qualification essential
• City & Guilds Air Conditioning qualification preferred but not essential
• Experience leading installers or overseeing subcontractors would be highly beneficial
• Able to work independently and take responsibility for installations
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems
• Full UK driving licence

Package

• £45,000 – £50,000+ DOE
• Flexibility above £50,000 for highly experienced engineers
