Job summary

Upfront Recruitment is seeking a Lead Air Conditioning Engineer to cover Southampton, Hampshire, and surrounding areas. You will install and maintain split, multi-split, ducted, cassette and VRF/VRV systems on domestic and commercial projects.

You will lead installations, perform fault finding, commissioning, and document progress with digital reports, acting as the face of the company on every site visit. A strong track record, F-Gas Category 1, and a UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years in air conditioning, across domestic and commercial work.
• Valid F-Gas Category 1 certificate.
• Strong fault-finding skills and high workmanship standards.
• Full UK driving licence with a clean record.
• Right to work in the UK and DBS check willingness.

Responsibilities

• Install split, multi-split, ducted, cassette and VRF/VRV systems.
• Carry out planned maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repairs.
• Commission new installations and complete digital job reports.
• Be the face of the company on every visit.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications, plus overtime

What you'll need (ideally)

• At least 7 years in air conditioning, across domestic and commercial work
• Valid F-Gas Category 1 certificate
• Strong fault-finding skills and high standards of workmanship
• Full UK driving licence with a clean record
• The right to work in the UK and a willingness to complete a DBS check
