Job summary

Haitch Recruitment is seeking a Lead Air Conditioning Engineer to cover Hampshire and surrounding areas. You will install, service, maintain and commission a range of systems, while delivering high standards of workmanship and excellent customer service.

The role requires extensive experience, a valid F-Gas Cat 1, and the ability to work independently, with ongoing training and clear opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years' experience in the air conditioning industry.
• F-Gas Category 1 certification.
• Experience installing, servicing and repairing air conditioning systems.
• Experience across domestic and commercial environments.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence with a clean record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional attitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Good organisation and time management skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willing to undergo DBS check and provide references.

Responsibilities

• Install split, multi-split, ducted, cassette, ceiling-suspended and VRF/VRV systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs across various air conditioning systems.
• Commission new installations and ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Complete digital job sheets and service reports.
• Ensure all work complies with current industry standards and health and safety requirements.
• Deliver excellent customer service across domestic and commercial sites.
• Represent the company professionally and maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Work independently while contributing to the continued growth and reputation of the business.

The Role - Lead Air Conditioning Engineer
