Job summary

Cytora, now an Applied Systems company, is seeking a Customer Business Analyst to join the Customer Success team. You will bridge AI and insurance, translating client needs into actionable requirements and helping shape product strategy while working with diverse stakeholders.

You’ll lead discovery workshops, refine processes, and design AI-enabled workflows that deliver measurable outcomes. This role offers flexible remote options and growth within a fast-paced Insurtech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in the insurance domain (underwriting, claims, policy administration or distribution).
• Ability to run client-facing workshops and influence senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools, including prompt engineering and AI-driven workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Delivery Manager and client teams to plan sprints, refine backlogs, and identify risks.
• Lead client discovery workshops and challenge existing processes to uncover value opportunities.
• Translate client needs into clear requirements, user stories, and integration designs for engineering and product teams.
• Identify data inputs, system touchpoints and exception scenarios early in design lifecycles.
• Manage analytical reporting of product performance using tools like Thoughtspot.
• Design and optimise AI-driven workflows, including prompt strategies and reporting.
• Improve BA practices through AI, automate repetitive analyses, and accelerate documentation and insights generation.
• Own test strategy, define acceptance criteria, lead UAT for end-to-end scenarios and AI output validation.
• Collaborate with agile teams to manage priorities, risks, and dependencies.
• Monitor live solutions and drive performance improvements via iteration.
