Job summary

Actian seeks an AI Enablement Lead to architect, scale, and own AI enablement across the Data Intelligence Platform. You will build foundational AI tooling, enable rapid productionization of AI features, and establish governance, guardrails, and cost controls while driving adoption across engineering teams.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, prototype PoCs to production, and standardize the AI stack with vector databases and embeddings. Remote or hybrid options provided.

Qualifications

• Strong background as Senior AI/ML Engineer, LLMOps Engineer, or Software Architect.
• Deep technical expertise in Python or Go, and in deploying AI-powered features in enterprise SaaS or data platforms.
• Proven ability to build scalable AI platforms and governance frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing for AI models, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain AI orchestration layers and reusable frameworks for company-wide use.
• Embed production-ready AI and ML features into the Actian Data Intelligence Platform.
• Establish governance, monitoring, and bias/privacy safeguards for AI deployments.
• Optimize cloud spend and reduce latency for production AI features.
• Lead cross-functional upskilling and produce clear AI documentation and blueprints.
• Drive PoCs to production with scalable, production-grade code.
• Standardize the AI tooling stack including vector embeddings and caching.
• Strategize partnerships with AI model providers and open-source models.
• Define metrics to measure ROI and adoption of AI tools.
