Sovos is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive market demand for our compliance solutions in the United Kingdom and Portugal. You'll connect with prospective customers, qualify leads, and partner with Account Executives to build a strong pipeline.

The ideal candidate speaks English and Portuguese or German, has a business development or sales background, and thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment using AI-assisted workflows and tools like Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with additional language (Portuguese or German) preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Proven BDR or sales experience with monthly quota achievement.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop sales opportunities, hitting activity targets and pipeline goals.
• Qualify inbound leads and hand off high-quality opportunities to Account Executives.
• Collaborate with Account Executives on territory plans and pipeline development.
• Execute a formal BD process with consistency and creativity for mid-level and exec contacts.
• Suggest improvements to BD strategies, processes, and tools using data insights.
