Job summary

SOVOS is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer in the United Kingdom to support multi-country sales engagements across tax and compliance technology. You will lead discovery, design scalable solutions, and position the business value of our platform to enterprise customers.

You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored demonstrations, respond to RFPs, and guide deals from pre-sales to implementation while leveraging AI tools to enhance discovery and personalization.

Qualifications

• Able to lead structured discovery sessions with enterprise buyers.
• Ability to design scalable cross-border solutions for tax/compliance contexts.
• Strong commercial mindset to connect business value with technical features.
• Experience influencing enterprise buying decisions and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; willingness to travel.
• Comfort with AI-assisted discovery and proposal workflows.
• Background check may be required for role due to client obligations.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-entity discovery sessions across global customer organisations.
• Design scalable, cross-border solution architectures aligned to business and compliance needs.
• Influence technical and business stakeholders and partner with Sales to shape account strategy.
• Own technical responses for enterprise RFPs, RFIs and global tenders and deliver tailored demos.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation.
• Contribute to global pre-sales best practices, messaging, and competitive positioning.
• Leverage AI tools to improve discovery workflows and demo personalization.
