Job summary

BridgeAI seeks a Deployment Applications Lead to drive design and delivery of practical tools and guidance for AI deployment across the UK’s Industrial Strategy sectors. The role blends hands-on product development with senior stakeholder engagement and team leadership within a dynamic programme.

You will own the roadmap, shape technical artefacts, and guide governance with ISO/NIST frameworks while mentoring the team and collaborating with Innovate UK partners.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent level in data science, software engineering, AI/ML systems or related field.
• Experience designing, prototyping and shipping digital tools or guidance for AI deployment.
• Proven track record deploying AI/ML systems in operational settings.
• Experience in line management or mentoring and objective setting.
• Ability to manage product development workstreams balancing near and long term value.

Responsibilities

• Develop a portfolio of interactive tools and guidance for AI deployment.
• Own the product development roadmap across the programme.
• Ensure outputs are accessible and well documented for broad adoption.
• Contribute to programme artefacts and governance discussions.
• Lead with cross‑organisational collaboration and sector engagement.
• Line manage the Impact & Data Manager and support dissemination activities.
• Engage with regulators and Innovate UK partners.
