Job summary

The Alan Turing Institute invites you to lead the design and delivery of practical AI deployment tools, frameworks and guidance to help organisations adopt AI at scale. You will work across the BridgeAI programme, combining hands-on product development with advisory support and engaging senior stakeholders.

This full-time fixed-term role (to 2030) offers a salary of £73,720–£78,750 with a flexible hybrid working model and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experienced AI/ML/data science professional with a track record deploying AI in real-world environments.
• Ability to lead teams, manage product development initiatives and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong understanding of AI governance, assurance and translating complex concepts into actionable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of practical AI deployment tools, frameworks and guidance.
• Own the product development roadmap balancing near-term needs with long-term value.
• Ensure products are accessible, well-documented and usable across sectors without specialist support.
• Contribute to deployment templates, assurance frameworks, integration guidance and benefits evidence.
• Provide technical deployment guidance covering site readiness, governance approvals and change management.
• Advise on AI safety, ethics and assurance referencing ISO/IEC standards and UK GDPR.
