Job summary

AXA UK is seeking an experienced AI Lead to own the AI delivery backlog, drive end-to-end programs from concept through production, and ensure scalable adoption across the UK business. You’ll bridge business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, owning value delivery, safety, quality and timely delivery.

Collaborate with product, data science, engineering and risk teams to define use cases, apply AI techniques, and implement governance, privacy and regulatory controls while coaching teams

Qualifications

• Experience leading AI/ML delivery across the full lifecycle.
• Ability to translate business problems into AI use cases with measurable value.
• Knowledge of governance, risk, privacy and regulatory considerations in AI.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end AI backlog and prioritise by value, feasibility and risk.
• Lead multiple programmes from PoC to production, adoption and scaling.
• Collaborate with business, data science, engineering and architecture teams to define use cases and solutions.
• Deliver production-ready GenAI and agentic solutions with data prep, MLOps, testing and monitoring.
• Act as a trusted delivery partner managing scope, costs and timelines while driving adoption.
• Develop and improve operating model, tooling and playbooks for AI delivery.
• Ensure governance, privacy and regulatory compliance in line with AXA standards.
• Define benefits and adoption metrics, report to senior leadership and advise on scaling.
