Job description

An After-school Nanny in New Barnet is needed by this lovely family to care for their two school-aged children. The role involves all general nanny duties. Responsibilities include school pick-ups, assisting with homework, managing evening and bedtime routines, and carrying out light housekeeping tasks. The nanny will also prepare dinner, taking into account that the son has a mild nut allergy. A driver with their own car is essential. A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Wednesday, 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Duties include:

• Preparing healthy meals and snacks.
• Washing and dressing the children.
• Helping with homework and learning support.
• Organising and participating in after-school activities with the children.
• Planning recreational activities to support the children’s physical and mental development.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy environment for the children.
• Engaging the children in arts and crafts projects.
• Taking the children to parks and playgrounds for outdoor play.
• Preparing the children for bed and reading them stories.
