Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is seeking a Workshop Controller for the Volkswagen Van Centre Norwich. You will oversee daily workshop operations, drive technician performance to meet targets, and support service managers in delivering outstanding customer service to customers.

We value experience in the motor industry and strong communication, with opportunities for progression within a global automotive group. 33 days annual leave, pension and other benefits are available.

Qualifications

Full UK Driving Licence
Experience in motor industry in a similar role is essential
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work to timescales effectively
Keen eye for detail and passion for great customer service
Experience in a main dealer environment
Strong industry knowledge
Ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities

Responsible for the day to day running of the workshop
Ensuring the service and repair technicians achieve their daily targets
Assisting the service managers to provide the best possible service to customers
Achieves agreed profits and retention levels
