Job summary

A local educational institution in Smethwick seeks a dedicated After School Club Support Worker. This role involves encouraging and engaging children aged 3-11, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment. Applicants must possess at least a Level 2 Early Years Childcare qualification or be willing to work towards it. The position offers a permanent contract and the candidate is expected to work Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A commitment to safeguarding is essential.

Qualifications

  • Prefer recent experience of a Breakfast or After School Club setting.
  • Appointment as a First Aider with training to deliver an excellent service.

Grade B, Scale Point 3–4
£24,796 – £25,185 FTE (Pro‑rata Salary £5,851 – £5,942)
