After School Club Leader – Ludwell Primary School

Location: Coronation Drive, Ludwell, Shaftesbury, Dorset, SP7 9ND
Contract Type: Permanent, Part‑time 12.5 hours per week
Salary: Grade F, £27,254 – £28,598 (DOE) FTE (pro rata £7,716 – £8,097)
Closing Date: 7 January 2026
Interview Date: 14 January 2026

About This Role

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a warm, supportive, and enthusiastic individual to lead our Afterschool Club beginning January 2026. The successful candidate will create a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment for children at the end of the school day, oversee activities and snacks, and supervise a small team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the After School Club, creating a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment for children.
  • Oversee activities, snacks, and supervision of a small team.
  • Work pattern: Monday – Friday, 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
  • Champion a culture defined by aspiration, collaboration, inclusion, enjoyment, and nurturing relationships.
Qualifications & Experience

Experience in a similar childcare or leadership role and a genuine passion for working with children.
