Job summary

Vico Homes is seeking a Development Manager to lead the conversion of Homes England grant funding into a viable pipeline of new-build affordable homes. The role focuses on ensuring schemes meet governance and compliance standards while fostering strong partnerships with developers, landowners and councils.

You will help shape the development programme, driving delivery toward the 10,000 homes target by 2036, while supporting long-term growth and vibrant communities through flexible and hybrid

Qualifications

• Significant experience identifying land and development opportunities.
• Experience of the pre-contract process.
• Previous managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate Homes England investment into a deliverable pipeline of new-build affordable homes.
• Ensure schemes are financially viable, well governed and compliant with Homes England requirements.
• Build strong relationships with developers, landowners, local authorities and other key partners.
• Help shape and deliver the new-build development programme.
• Maximise housing delivery towards the 10,000 homes by 2036 growth programme.
• Support the organisation's long-term growth ambitions and the creation of vibrant communities.
