Job summary

Vico Homes Limited in Castleford is seeking a Development Manager (New Business) to join the Development Team. You will work 37 hours per week on a permanent basis within our operating area, supporting the Growth Plan and Homes England partnership.

You will translate substantial grant funding into a deliverable pipeline, ensure schemes are viable and compliant, and build strong external partnerships with developers, landowners and local authorities to maximise housing delivery.

About the role

As the Development Manager (New Business) your manager will be our Head of New Business and Delivery. You will work 37 hours a week on a permanent basis, working flexibly in the Vico Homes operating area with our Head Office in Castleford.

As a Homes England Strategic Partner, we have secured £250 million of Homes England funding to significantly increase the supply of high-quality affordable homes across the region. Through our ambitious Future Homes Plan, we will deliver more than 10,000 homes by 2036, helping to tackle the housing crisis and create places to be proud of.

The Development Manager (New Business) is a high-profile opportunity to help shape and deliver Vico Homes's programme to support an ambitious pipeline of new-build development, build strong external partnerships and help create vibrant communities and better futures for our customers.

What you'll do

As a Homes England Strategic Partner, Vico Homes has secured £250m in grant funding to enable our Homes' Growth Strategy programme of 10,000 new affordable homes by 2036. You will help translate this significant investment into a deliverable pipeline, ensuring schemes are financially viable, well governed and compliant with Homes England requirements, whilst building effective relationships with developers, landowners, local authorities and other key partners to maximise housing delivery and achieve the organisation's long-term growth ambitions.
