Overview

We are seeking a skilled Production Engineer to play a key role in delivering effective production engineering and planning activities. This role spans component manufacturing, repairs, and aircraft modification embodiment, ensuring full compliance with all relevant aviation regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead production engineering and planning activities.
  • Manufacturing of aircraft parts, assemblies, and equipment.
  • Component modification and repairs in a workshop environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Part 145 and Part 21G regulatory approvals at all times.
  • Support the company\'s Safety Management System (SMS) by identifying and reporting any unsafe conditions that could impact aircraft or personnel safety.
  • Contribute to audit non-conformance management and safety investigation findings.
  • Work to international standards including ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 27001 (Information Security Management).
  • Apply safe systems of work and champion high safety and quality standards.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a Production Engineering role - essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK CAA Part 21G and Part 145 aviation regulations - essential.
  • Familiarity with EASA, UK Military, and FAA regulations - advantageous.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, and SMS principles in aviation - advantageous.
  • Aviation apprenticeship with industry experience, or
  • Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering degree, or
  • EASA / CAA / Other Part 66 B1/B2 licence, or
  • Ability to obtain and hold SC-level security clearance - essential.
