Safran Seats in Wales (Cwmbran) seeks a Configuration Manager to lead the CMS, ensuring governance of product configurations throughout lifecycle. You will align CMS with group processes, QMS, and regulatory standards, while driving change control and reporting.

The role requires CMII Level 6, CATIA V5 and PLM experience, with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration with engineering teams across the business.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• CMII Level 6 certification or equivalent exposure to CM best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the CMS, ensuring compliance with requirements and governance.
• Own and optimise the engineering change control process with clear responsibilities.
• Drive standardisation of configuration and change practices across groups.
